BBQ Pork Chops!

Summer is coming and I love simple dinners! I love dinners on the grill that don't heat up the house even more! So Pork chops and chicken get eaten a lot in the summer in our house.
This is a super simple recipe with great results!

Grilled BBQ Pork Chops
4-5 Pork Chops- thickness w/ dictate how long you need to cook it
Your favorite BBQ sauce 2 cups (I love Black Swan there is some cane sugar in it but otherwise no preservatives chemicals or anything artificial.) Or you could try to make your own BBQ sauce I have not tried it yet but plan to!
Onion powder
Paprika

-About 4-8 hours pre grilling Sprinkle Pork Chops with Onion Powder and Paprika put into a zip lock and pour in your 2 cups of BBQ sauce and refrigerate.
-After cleaning, oil your grill (I use grape seed oil or sunflower they are best for higher heats) Best way to do this is either to get some oil on a paper towel and spread it or use a towel that you don't care is going to get icky.
Heat your grill to medium and grill the chops for about 3-4 min for thin chops 5-7 for thicker and then flip (you are looking for good grill lines- you know the brown to black marks of the grill on your meat-yum!) Do the same on the next side and check to see your meat has reached the temp of 145.
I personally like to brush on a little extra BBQ sauce at the end on both sides and cook for one minute more.

Easy Sides-
Grilled Asparagus-
Fresh Asparagus
Olive Oil
Salt

Trim the ends of your asparagus and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and you can cook this on the grill at the same time as your chops! Turn every 1-2 min for a total of about 5 to seven minutes. That's it! How easy is that!?
